1SHOW RULES FOR LIVESTOCK
1. The Superintendent has authority to send diseased animals off grounds at exhibitors expense.
2. Each exhibitor will assume full risk in exhibiting his or her animals. Every precaution will be taken, but neither the Fairboard, Rock River Township or the Alger County Board of Commissioners will assume responsibility for accidents.
3. Youth exhibitors must be 6-19 years of age as of 12/31 to receive premium.
4. Youth exhibitors must be able to handle animals in the ring. (No adults other than Judge & helper in the ring.)
5. Judging will be A, B, C. Youth may receive a participation D ribbon.
6. Exhibits deemed unworthy by judge will be ineligible to receive a premium.
7. Animals shown must be in place by time of judging shown on schedule of events. (If not in place for judging they will be disqualified.)
8. Exhibitor is responsible for FEEDING, WATERING and GROOMING.
9. Lactating dairy cows are only required to be present the day of the judging.
10. Exhibitor must be owner of all market livestock.
11. Bedding is not guaranteed. Please bring your own bedding.
12. If the exhibitor is not in position for judging at the appropriate time, they will be disqualified.
ALL LIVESTOCK MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED BY JULY 15TH!
